Shola Crown Resort - Munnar

The floors were dangerously slippery, and there were no warning signs anywhere. That felt like a serious failure of responsibility. The place is a long way from Munnar and, for what they provide, far too expensive. The rooms seemed like ordinary flats to me, worth about 1500 a night at most. They also charged 2500 for a basic trekking or walking activity, which wasn’t worth the money. The staff’s attitude made the stay worse. The receptionist and restaurant manager were rude and unprofessional, and most of the staff didn’t seem to know how to treat customers. Hospitality and safety were both very poor. It was a disappointing experience and a waste of money. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless they improve their service and professionalism.

The food was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We especially appreciated the chef and the waiter. There’s a pool and a playground for children, plus geese roaming freely around the property. The stay itself was pleasant, though the hotel’s standard wasn’t quite what we expected compared with Norwegian standards. Still, it was clean and nice.

The views were breathtaking, and everything was kept really clean. We had delicious food and warm, attentive hospitality at Shola Crown Resort. All the little details were taken care of, so it was a relaxing, memorable stay. Highly recommend it for a getaway.

I’m an expatriate and came to Munnar for my vacation. I booked a resort and came away with a very good, beautiful memory. The food was amazing, and the resort was excellent. Everyone, from the manager to the cleaning staff, was kind and cooperative. Faisal really stood out for how responsibly and smoothly he coordinated everything. He’s a good staff member.
