The booking process caused trouble even when done offline, and the manager was very rude. The place was untidy, the blankets weren’t clean, and there were lots of insects in the room. Lizards and cockroaches were all over the bathroom. There was no hot water, and the water supply had issues.

Local transport is nearby, but the stay was very poor for the price. The photos didn’t show the actual place, and no room had space for three beds. There was no AC room as promised at booking, and no TV or night lamp either. The rooms were very low class, and the ones with Indian-style toilets were awful. The area was noisy because of a steel workshop next door, and the map location was wrong. The manager was rude. When I asked him to clean the room in front of me, he said it would only be done after I checked out.

This felt like a fake booking setup. Rooms aren’t provided for reservations made through Oyo, even though the website still allows bookings. If you’ve paid in advance, they say there are no rooms and no refund. Please complain about this site. Don’t pay anything in advance. If the office calls, go to the spot to make sure the lodge is actually available, then pay.

The TV didn’t work, and the bathroom was awful: no hot water, dirty, and even the water seemed bad. The bucket and mug were disgusting. There was no blanket or toiletries either. The room and bed were unpleasant, and it wasn’t clean enough to go without shoes or slippers. I wouldn’t recommend this lodge, especially for a family.

We couldn’t find the hotel because its Google Maps location was wrong. After traveling 50 km, we also couldn’t reach Oyo: there’s just one customer care number, and they sometimes don’t answer at night. Oyo was the worst part of this experience. I wouldn’t book through Oyo or SpotOn online. The walk might be okay.
