Hotel Embassy

We paid ₹4,000, but the room we got was smaller and poorly maintained compared with what we booked online and what the listing photos showed. When I brought it up, staff just said, “this is the only room we have,” without trying to fix it or adjust anything. Their behavior also made us very uncomfortable: they stared at us and sang strange songs as we walked by. The whole atmosphere was unpleasant, so we checked out early. For that price, I didn't feel the place offered basic value or respect. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a decent or safe experience.

At checkout, we were unexpectedly charged ₹1250 extra for buffet breakfast, at ₹250 per person, without a clear explanation beforehand. The front office person at Embassy Hotel, Zeeshan Khan, had quoted ₹5500 for two double bed occupancy, or ₹6000 with breakfast. Adding charges to the bill this way isn't acceptable. The billing communication needs to improve, and I wouldn't recommend staying here until it does. 2/5 stars 😒

The rooms and location were okay, but management seemed extremely focused on money and didn't care about customers. I booked through a booking site at midnight, and the date rolled over because of the timing. When I arrived, staff refused to check me in, saying the booking was for the next morning. They said no premium room was available, even though that was the category I'd booked, so I had to take a “family room” and pay ₹1,350 more. After keeping me in the lobby for 30-40 minutes, they gave me the exact same premium room I'd booked originally. It felt like a deliberate attempt to overcharge and cheat a customer. Very disappointing, despite the good rooms and location.

Driver Raj made the trip for us. He drove safely, communicated well, navigated well, and kept the car clean. He stood out throughout the journey and was the best person on our trip. Thanks to Hotel embassy for providing us such a good companion. Go for him. Thanks!
