Resort Rupkatha

A lovely resort, with a great ambience and food. The staff were well maintained, and I had a very good experience. A beautiful place to stay for a few days. Must visit.

The food and service were both awful. Dinner was promised by 10:30 PM, but it arrived at 11:30 PM. We were told the restaurant had only one person working at night. Tea we ordered at 8:30 AM didn't reach our room until 9:50 AM, despite four reminder calls. The room had a TV, but its remote had no batteries, and they didn't bring any when we called. The AC had a direct power connection, and apparently there was no remote for it either. Our check-in was a little late, too. We were travelling with family and have never had such a bad stay. Please check this resort carefully before booking. Lataguri has many resorts, and I doubt many have service this poor.

The setting and atmosphere are nice, but the rooms and service need improvement. They weren't up to the mark.

The staff at Hotel Rupkatha were so courteous and ready to help, always greeting us with a smile. Our room was spacious, clean, and well kept, with attractive décor and modern amenities. The food was fresh and delicious, especially the local dishes that gave us a taste of Dooars. We also loved the peaceful setting, surrounded by the region's greenery, which made a welcome break from city life. Whether you're after a quiet stay or want to explore nearby forests and tea gardens, this was a lovely choice. I had a delightful stay and would happily come back.
