The location on the map is off by roughly 200 to 300 meters. The area itself is handy, with temples and ghats a short walk away and cabs easy to find. Inside, the rooms are quite small. The sheets had food and tea stains, the AC didn’t work, and there’s no heater in cold weather, just extra blankets. The lane is dirty, and the windows are in poor shape and can’t be opened because of gutka stains on the glass. Housekeeping was slow, usually taking around 30 minutes to respond. It could do for a budget stay, but at this price there are better rooms available.

The parking listed on ibibo turned out to be government parking about half a kilometer from the hotel. Police block the road, so once your car is there, it’s practically stuck. Getting to the property by car, or even otherwise, was a bad experience. The hotel sits in a shady spot down a very narrow gali, quite far from gadauliya chauraha. I booked online, and both the receptionist and owner kept telling me parking was available. When I raised it with the app’s customer support, they denied having said that. If you don’t want your trip ruined or to get into trouble, don’t book here.

At their new hotel, the staff were really nice and both the room and bathroom were clean. The rooms also felt very luxurious for the budget. I had a great stay.

The staff were very nice and I had a good stay. There are a couple of things to keep in mind: the hotel is some distance from the main road, and there’s no hot water kettle in the room, though room service can bring one.

The reception was good, but the room was tiny and service was very poor. There was no welcome kit or kettle, and hot drinks weren’t available before 8am. The hotel is down a dirty, narrow lane off a very congested main road where cars and autos aren’t allowed. Employees helped transfer our things, and we had to take a rickshaw the rest of the way. Disappointed with the stay.
