Jeetu at the front office deserves a special thanks for being courteous and so helpful. My sister and I had a wonderful, comfortable stay, with well-kept, clean rooms and a location that made it easy to get around. Thanks to the whole team for making the visit memorable. We’d definitely like to come again.

I’m writing as the person responsible for my family. I was travelling with two women, and what happened felt deeply disturbing and unsafe. We had a confirmed, paid booking at Safarnama Bed and Breakfast through Sunday. It was clearly agreed, not tentative or a misunderstanding. But around 10 PM on Friday, they suddenly told us to leave immediately because they had double-booked the property. They admitted the mistake, yet made clear that we, rather than the newer guests, would bear the disruption. I stayed calm and asked several times if we could at least keep one of the two rooms we’d booked and paid for. They flatly refused and made no attempt to find a workable option. Instead, they said they would use a master key to enter and remove our luggage if we didn’t leave. Hearing that late at night while I was responsible for the safety of two women felt like a direct threat. The place stopped feeling like hospitality and felt hostile and unsafe. We had onward travel to Ayodhya and couldn’t simply find somewhere else at such short notice. In an unfamiliar city, being forced out at that hour was difficult and risky, and they knew our situation. There was no empathy, accountability, or effort to fix their mistake. They offered a “complimentary stay” for Sunday night, but that didn’t address the fact that they were forcing us out that same night. It felt like an empty gesture to cover their failure. The double booking itself could have been a mistake. What made this unacceptable was prioritising new guests, threatening to enter our room with a master key, and forcing us out late without meaningful support. It showed no professionalism, basic decency, or regard for guest safety. I strongly caution families, especially those travelling with women, against this place. This was intimidation and a serious breach of trust, not just an inconvenience.

The breakfast was tasty, healthy, and really good, and the lunch or dinner we got from outside was nice too. They don’t have an in-house kitchen for those meals, only breakfast is cooked there. This was my first homestay, and it was one of my best stays. The rooms were super cozy, the decor was beautiful and homely, and the staff were so friendly and helpful they felt like family. I’ve become a big fan of Safarnama.

Everything felt smooth and worth it, from the peaceful atmosphere to the property and rooms. The owners and staff were friendly, understanding, and available whenever we needed them. Sumit at reception was especially cooperative, and I’d personally suggest connecting with him. Thanks for making the experience so easy and amazing.
