The staff helped us when we needed it, though they weren't especially warm or chatty. We had a good experience at Aloha Homestay overall. We stayed two days, and the room was spacious and clean, with lots of tables and chairs and plenty of room to move around. There was a nice sitting spot on the balcony just outside. The beach and cliff were close enough to walk to.

Manager Anish and receptionist Norah were very helpful. The property is three years old, and I had a pretty good AC room on the first floor. It's within walking distance of the Varkala cliff cafe’s, though the way there goes through very narrow lanes. They can arrange bikes for Rs600/day, and a cab from Varkala to Trivandrum airport costs Rs 2200. I'll definitely stay here again.

The North cliff view point is only a short stroll away, though the roads to get there are narrow, like they are around most resorts here. When it rains, water collects on the roads and walking becomes difficult. The stay was decent. The rooms were clean and large, but not cozy.

We had a quiet, comfortable place to return to after exploring. It was ideal for three people, with a spotless, spacious room and everything we needed for a relaxing trip. North Cliff is a short walk away, and Inda Café is very close. Highly recommend it!

The prices were reasonable, the staff friendly, and the rooms and maintenance very good. It's very close to the cliff, and better than a lot of the fancy stays around here.
