OYO 10811 Sri Sairam Residency

We waited over an hour for breakfast, and no one was there to attend to guests promptly. They were quick enough when it came to taking money, and they overcharged for a mineral water bottle. During our three days there, we never got a Wi-Fi signal, though it had been promised when we booked. There were no amenities or cleanliness, and we had to call at least seven times for bathroom water, which seemed to run out every 20 minutes or so. They just provide rooms, that's it. My first OYO hotel stay was such a bad experience that I regretted booking it. I've seen the owner's replies to feedback, just a simple 'sorry'. If they'd worked on the problems, things could have improved by now. The worst ever.

The service was good, and the staff were responsive, but the room itself was shabby and stinky. The sheets were soiled, the pillows smelled bad, and the mattress was basically a big piece of sponge. Basic cleanliness wasn't maintained.

There isn't an attached restaurant, and parking is open and only for two-wheelers. The compact rooms have AC and TV, and Wi-Fi is provided, but the standards are average. There are a lot of mosquitoes, so you'll need repellent in the room. It may suit people looking for a basic stay at a limited cost.

The complimentary mineral water was just local water in a bottle with no seal. The towels were worse than a doormat, the sheets hadn't been washed, the beds weren't clean, and the room smelled bad. It was very small and costly for what it was. Those two days were a very bad experience, and the lodge was a waste of money. I would never recommend it.
