For a short stay, Aramis Hotel Tehran is a practical option if you want to be near Valiasr St. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the prices are fair. Just don't expect luxury or consistently polished service. Staff are polite, but service can vary, and street noise plus the limited breakfast take away from the stay.

A very good hotel for tourists, since the staff can help with basic information about the country. Some staff, unfortunately, can act unethically or have an extremely liberal mindset, and that can mean they don't understand what they should do in certain situations.

There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and several well-known cinemas are close too. You can also stroll along Tehran's longest street in the afternoon, with its shops, colorful displays, and famous plane trees. The hotel itself is a long-established 4-star property, built about 50 years ago and renovated in 2015. It has 133 rooms and suites across 7 floors, plus an Iranian restaurant, cafe, conference hall, gym, and meeting room. The location puts you right in central Tehran, which is excellent. My room was quiet, with no extra noise from the nearby street, and it was clean. The staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was OK, about 6 out of 10.
