The staff were very polite and moved me to another room promptly, though I could still hear noise from other rooms. The price is reasonable, and the hotel is close to the Talawani and Darwazaye Dowlat metro stations. My first room had a broken air conditioner and a leaking toilet flush tank, and breakfast was poor. Services are limited, so don’t expect three-star service.

Room service was very poor. I asked reception several times to send someone to clean, but the cleaning lady didn’t come until after three days. Breakfast was poor too. If you charge $20 US a day, you should provide better service and clean the room and toilet daily. Nobody seems to pay attention to these issues. I ask the owner of meena hotel to focus on these problems and solve them as soon as possible.

The location is very nice, close to the metro, and the staff were nice too. Just be aware the metro is three floors underground with no lift or escalator, so don’t take elderly people there. The hotel was fine for sleeping, with a good bed and an ordinary breakfast, but keep your expectations modest. Noise from nearby rooms could wake you up. We didn’t have a bad experience.

The reception staff seemed uninterested in helping and spoke very little English. Breakfast was below average, and there wasn’t even coffee. WiFi was terrible, probably the worst I’ve had in Iran. It was a disappointing stay, and I don’t recommend it.

They did bring extra bottled water for free when we asked, and the receptionist was fairly kind. Still, calling this a four-star hotel? It was the worst I’ve stayed in, even compared with places in SEA, despite having traveled to many countries. The AC made noise for hours, right up to midnight. WiFi was unstable, with just 500mb free per phone per day. And the toilet had no bowl, so you had to squat to do your business. Jeezzz.
