Persian Plaza Hotel

I’d consider coming back. The rooms were comfortable and peaceful for sleeping, even though the hotel is central, and their facilities were acceptable. Breakfast had a wide selection and was good quality. The restaurant looks out over the city, though on my visit the view was a little smoggy from air pollution. Staff at the parking entrance asked a lot of questions, even on our third day. At first that seemed excessive, but as a safety measure, their thoroughness could be a good thing. The streets around the hotel are steep, so exploring the neighborhood on foot may be difficult.

I booked a room at Persian Plaza, then they canceled soon afterward, saying my rate was no longer available and asking for more money to rebook. I’d already spent time planning my stay, so the disruption was frustrating. This felt completely unacceptable and unprofessional. They don’t seem to honor the listed prices, which makes the available rooms unreliable. I wouldn’t trust this hotel for a dependable booking.

The beautiful, distinctive lobby and the pool’s unique atmosphere made me feel good here. I also met someone at the hotel who was very skilled at their job and a really good person.

The restaurant has a nice view and polite, professional staff. I usually went there to watch football matches and enjoyed it. The food quality is good, though not especially high. They also have good hookahs if you like smoking them. It’s a nice place to meet friends or have a romantic date.
