It felt like staying with family, not at some commercial place, and the attention was wonderful. I asked a million questions out of curiosity and got answers to every one. My first horse-riding experience couldn't have been better. We stayed one night and went on a 2.5-hour ride; the instructors were awesome, and I also got to meet the owner. Absolutely recommended. Keep up the great work!

If noise bothers you while you're trying to sleep, this may not work for you. The walls barely block sound, and I could hear people next door even when they whispered. Still, the host was kind and responsive. The decor was beautiful, the beds comfortable, and everything was clean. If quiet isn't a must for you, I'd recommend it.

The location makes it easy to reach the Geysir hot springs and other Golden Circle sights, and parking is free. Wi-Fi worked reliably, and the friendly hostesses made us feel welcome right away. It's a small, cozy, practical place for exploring the area, with an authentic feel and reasonable value for the location. Keep in mind that this is more like a guesthouse or hostel than a hotel. Rooms and facilities are shared, and the basic kitchen, with small convection burners and a microwave, is fine for simple meals but not for elaborate cooking. There isn't much space or privacy, and it isn't a luxury stay. Nearby dining choices are limited and can be expensive, so bringing groceries is a good idea.

The staff were so kind, and the horses made the stay even more special. I can't wait to come back for the countryside tour, which was the best, and ride the cutest horse. We each had a favorite suited to our riding level. My stay at Geysir brought such peace. This place is a little gem tucked into the Golden Circle, don't miss it! 💞
