The dog greeting guests was a nice touch, and the breakfast area had a good view and lots of natural light. Our small triple room looked out onto the parking lot. The decor was a bit dated and quirky, but everything was clean. A decent place to stop along the way, especially for one night.

The staff were kind and responsible when I accidentally left my Apple Watch behind. They kept it safe until my friend could pick it up. The breakfast was a favorite too, with lots of choices, including hot dishes, in a lovely glass room overlooking the lake. It was a peaceful way to start the day. The owner’s thoughtful design and decorations give the hotel loads of charm. Amazing value and a wonderful stay, highly recommended.

A nice spot close to nature if you’re driving the Ring Road. The rooms are small, and both the soundproofing and blinds could be better. Breakfast is basic, although the breakfast staff are friendly. The lodging itself is alright.

Breakfast is continental, not hot: some bread, a little fruit, a couple of sliced vegetables, and cereal. Given the location, it’s the only real choice unless you check out and head into town. Older reviews give a misleading idea of what’s available now. Our room was clean, but so small we had to keep our bags in the car.

The view was stunning, and breakfast was really good. Everything was spotless and well kept, and the host was incredibly kind and welcoming. We had a great one-night stay. Highly recommended if you want somewhere peaceful and enjoyable! 🙌🏼😊
