We enjoyed our stay, and the house is conveniently located in the capital, within walking distance of the city center. It wasn’t very clean, though still acceptable, and the hot water smelled really bad. I didn’t notice that anywhere else in Iceland, so perhaps it’s typical of Reykyavik. The kitchen wasn’t very well equipped, but we managed.

Great location, and the toaster works well. Beyond that, there were a lot of problems. The bathroom may have been remodeled, but it still smelled like an outhouse, and it wasn’t the water. There was a broken chair, missing window props, and only 3 glasses for 5 people. The 2 chef knives were less sharp than the butter knives. No washcloths or hand towels either. I could keep listing things, but I don’t want to spend the rest of my vacation doing that, with 1 week left. Owners should try staying there for a week now and then. Not for families. It might be fine for a college student just crashing after partying all day and night.

We had a nightmare of a stay, but the owner sorted things out and made up for the issues. We ran into problems with the door codes, though I’m not sure we mentioned them. The instructions for the "hot tub" are backwards, and I think it fills from the bottom.

Flat B was amazing, so comfortable and right in the middle of town. Fabulous place. I can't rate it highly enough.
