HH Guesthouse

The place had clearly been decorated recently and looked great. Getting in was easy too, they sent codes on the day and we let ourselves in with a smart lock, no keys. Inside, the kitchen was perfect, with a Nespresso machine, kettle, toaster, microwave, oven, and hob. They’d also left milk and tea. The bed was comfortable, though I would have liked extra pillows. The shower wasn’t great, but it was good enough. I was nervous because there were no Google reviews, but our stay last night turned out brilliantly and exceeded my expectations. It’s easy to walk to bars, restaurants, and attractions from here. We thought it was good value for Reykjavik, and I’d definitely stay again. Wish we’d booked more than one night.

We had a clean, nice-smelling room with a small kitchen, coffee, a few appliances, and a smart TV. The bathroom was nice and big, and the location is right in the center. The trouble was the noise at night. There’s a club or bar nearby, I’m not sure which, playing loud music until 3 AM. It felt like the sound was inside the room, maybe because the insulation isn’t very good. People coming into the building also kept slamming the doors all night. If noise doesn’t bother you, it’s a great place to stay.

Right in the heart of Reykjavik, with lovely clean rooms and perfect service. This is the best place I've stayed in the city. We had a small problem with the TV because a previous guest had taken a cable, unbelievably, but the staff fixed it straight away. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Iceland.

The studio is a lovely, well arranged space with a kitchenette, and it's right in the city center, handy for sightseeing. Getting a parking spot can be tricky since the spaces out front fill up fast. One thing to keep in mind is the steep staircase, especially if you're carrying a suitcase. Entry to both the building and the studio uses a code, and it's the same one. A great place to stay. 😊
