The beds were probably the best I slept in during my whole time in Iceland. We visited in low season and had the guesthouse to ourselves, which was a lot of fun. It was clean and cozy, and the hosts were so friendly. I'd definitely come back.

We went in Sep 2022, and the host made us feel very welcome. The room was awesome, and there was a lovely common room plus a spacious kitchen and dining table. Siglufjordur is a small fishing village without anything spectacular to offer, but it has a fabulous feeling of being the most accessible place in Iceland near the Arctic Circle. I could have stayed two more days just for the hospitality and location. There's no free breakfast, and it's better to buy supplies in Akureyri before coming here, since Siglufjordur has no Bonus or Nettó, only a much more expensive Kjorbudin.

We had the family room with our toddler, and they provided a cot for him. The hosts were really accommodating. It's a cozy guesthouse with very comfortable beds, and we'd definitely stay again.
