Black Beach Suites

The view from the wall of glass and the porch was unforgettable, with the black sand beach looking especially beautiful at sunrise and sunset. We even got to see the Northern Lights from our windows and porch. The suite was easy to reach by car, and we could unload right by the door and park directly in front. Inside, there was everything we needed to cook full meals: a stovetop, microwave, fridge, dining space and comfortable couch, plus complimentary coffee and tea. The mudroom and separate bathroom area were handy and gave us a welcome bit of privacy. We had originally booked the hostel section, The Barn, for our second night, but after staying in a suite we chose to upgrade. The staff were very accommodating and moved us to a deluxe suite. It was nice, though we actually preferred the standard suite’s layout and convenient mudroom. Black Beach Suites exceeded our expectations, and we’d happily return for the comfort, practicality and views.

Even in winter the studio was clean and cosy, with modern furnishings and everything well equipped. Great ocean views from the balcony, and we could even spot the northern lights. The bathrooms were modern and clean too, and the staff were friendly with great service. Good value for money. We’ll definitely come again :)

We had a clean, spacious room and could cook our own meals with the kitchen and microwave. It’s a modern suite, and having Netflix for movies in the room was nice. We also had a good chance of seeing the aurora. A washer and dryer would make it even better. I’d recommend staying here.

Our plans changed because of the weather, and Sarra Zeikane at the desk was very kind and helpful as we adjusted our trip. We did get to visit the property, and it was beautiful. We’ll definitely come back. Highly recommended :)
