The food, made with local produce, was fantastic and great value, and the rooms were a good size and child-friendly. We stayed for three days in a lovely countryside spot, just five minutes from historic Borno and very close to the small but nice Borno ski resort. It’s family-run and welcoming. Really good value, and I’d recommend it.

You get a warm welcome and plenty of peace here, though it’s not a place to expect luxury. The hotel has a real mountain feel, surrounded by greenery on a sunny plateau. It’s been family-run since the 1980s, and the two owners are so friendly and kind. The rooms were clean and breakfast was homemade. A special place, recommended.

The food is excellent and thoughtfully prepared, especially the desserts, which are all worth trying. The family-run hotel is in a magnificent spot, and the owners’ kindness, warmth, and hospitality make you feel very welcome. Highly recommended.

I only stopped for coffee while passing through, but the setting was so lovely that one coffee turned into a long stay. The homemade sweets were wonderful, and the whole place felt relaxed.
