Appartamento alla Grand'Ourse

The place sits on top of a hill, with nice views, and the location is good. It’s 5 min from the ski lifts by car, and you can order a ski taxi directly from the hotel. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a dishwasher and 2 fridges. The rooms and bathrooms were clean enough, but there’s definitely mold on the walls that needs to be dealt with immediately for guests’ health. The hot water boiler was switched off when we arrived, so no one could use the bathroom. Internet also didn’t last through our whole stay because it was limited. The property is still being renovated, and some spots look a bit old and dirty, so it depends on your standards. Still recommendable.

I was charged for the booking, but no one answered the phone or replied to my messages. I asked for the fee to be cancelled and still haven’t heard back from the property. The way they treated customers was incompetent and disrespectful. I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone. There was complete disregard and no service!

The apartment was like a pig-sty. The air was so dry my nose bled, and the heat kept running constantly until the place felt like hell. I couldn’t sleep. The supposed 'ski-in-ski-out' access was completely made up. My friend was claustrophobic. Luckily, we moved to another hotel in the next two days. There were 2 windows, but they barely let in any air and faced onto a stairwell. This place was terrible, almost malicious.

If you book a room here, ask the host whether the view out your window is as beautiful as mine.
