Hotel Croce del Sud

Really great.

Bikes are available, including ones with child seats, and pets are welcome. The staff were especially friendly and helpful, with Maria Luisa making us feel very welcome. Our room was adequate, with a spacious bathroom and a big balcony overlooking the sea. The partner beach club, Paradise, was exceptionally clean and well run. The food was excellent, and the hotel is in a handy spot in the Western area, just a few steps from the sea. A top pick for families or anyone looking for a quiet stay.

Our two-year-old insists on being the “waiter” and carrying his own food to the table, so there was always a chance he’d drop or break something. Nobody ever gave us a disapproving look. That kind of welcome made it hard not to feel at home. The glowing reviews of Croce Del Sud Hotel had persuaded us to book, and we found them completely true. We were sorry to leave Maria Luisa and Mr. Luigi, who were wonderful and so hospitable. Luca was also lovely with the children and always attentive. Congratulations!

Breakfast is worth looking forward to, especially the homemade cakes, and the buffet always has plenty of cooked and raw vegetables. The meals are a real strength, carefully made, with lots of meat and fish to choose from. I’ve been returning here for holidays for several years. It’s peaceful and very close to the beach, and the location is excellent. The rooms are clean, many with sea views. The owners are consistently kind and helpful, which makes the place feel welcoming. Highly recommended.
