We had a very bad experience and felt scammed. We booked through Booking.com and were charged the full amount. There was a door with metal bars inside our room, which disturbed us, so we asked to change rooms. They refused, then claimed we had never checked into the hotel while keeping the full payment. We cancelled and spoke directly with a staff member on the first day, explained the problem, and were told we could pay for one night and get the other nights refunded. We left that same day based on that agreement. The next day the hotel suddenly refused it. Booking.com contacted them too, but they still wouldn't refund us, and our request was rejected again yesterday. We understand the charge for one night as agreed, but paying the full amount when we didn't stay at the hotel isn't acceptable. We ask that they honor the original agreement and return the rest. DON'T BOOK IN THIS HOTEL.

Eleanor and her team were exceptional, friendly and attentive, and breakfast was good. The place is beautiful, clean, and welcoming, in a property done in the Tuscan style. It's right in the city center, with plenty of main attractions at your doorstep. Thank you!

The room was comfortable and had a historic feel, and the bed was firm and comfortable. A few chairs were a bit saggy. The breakfast was small, but fresh and more than enough. This lovely B&B/inn is in a 300-year-old building, a few blocks from the train station and Florence's historic sites. The air conditioning worked very well, which we appreciated on some very hot days.

We slept peacefully in a comfortable bed with lovely quality linen. Our room was gorgeous when we returned to Alloro, with our bags already in it and the air conditioning set to a nicely cool temperature. We'd left our cases before check-in because the room wasn't ready, and the welcome we received was lovely. The B&B is in a fabulous building and very well placed for Firenze. The room's hospitality items weren't overpriced, and there was an excellent choice of wine. Breakfast tasted good, offered plenty of options, and our attentive host kept it replenished. We were very pleased with the stay and would happily recommend it or return to Florence.

Cristian took care of everything we needed, and breakfast was delicious. The rooms were comfortable and had what we needed, with a minibar and kettle as a nice bonus. A lovely stay in Florence, very central and easy to reach from the train station.
