Everything felt worn out and old. The blankets were awful, barely blankets at all. It was so noisy I couldn't sleep, with sounds from other rooms, the elevator and even the plumbing carrying through. The whole hotel smelled really bad. It was a nightmare stay, especially for how expensive it was. This doesn't deserve three stars, it deserves zero. And the cleaners aren't to blame. It's the old furniture and facilities that smell bad.

The hotel was quite nice. What stood out most was the receptionist, who was polite, helpful, and really great. I’d especially recommend staying here to Asian travelers.

The room and bathroom were clean, but the walls are so thin you can hear things you’d rather not hear. There’s no food available, just a vending machine, and an extra charge was only disclosed at checkout. This place could use some improvement.

The friendly staff let us leave our bags for free, and the room had appreciated air conditioning and a decent amount of space. The bathroom was small, and the place felt old rather than luxurious. It’s a budget option if you don’t mind a commute or need lots of extras. There’s a tram stop within walking distance, but it’s at the end of the line, so getting to the places you’ll want to see in Florence takes a while.

The receptionist was very kind and helpful, and the T1 tram’s terminal stop is nearby. From the hotel, including the walk to the stop, it took about 25 minutes to reach central Florence. It’s fine if you just need somewhere to sleep with air conditioning and Wi-Fi. The building is old and a bit dingy, so don’t expect much beyond that.
