The hotel’s location was good, and there was a little mini market just outside. The other staff we dealt with were polite. That’s about all I can say in its favor. The room was awful for something meant to be 4☆ and cost €150 a night. On a good night I’d give it 1☆. I’ve stayed in better B&Bs in Blackpool and seen better rooms in student accommodation. When we complained, one staff member told us to change our attitude because they were busy. They moved us the next day, but the replacement was no better, just a bit bigger. The pool wasn’t in use, but there was still a €15 a day fee to use it; from what we could see it was about 10ft x 10ft. Breakfast was served in the restaurant next door, which was a first for me, though the food was acceptable. Shops don’t sell alcohol after 9pm, so get drinks for the room early.

Linda, our breakfast waitress, was wonderful all week. She was kind, attentive, and always made sure we were looked after. The food each morning was fresh, high quality, and lovely, so breakfast became something we looked forward to. Linda’s warm service lifted the whole stay and made it feel like a 5+ star experience. Highly recommended, and thank you, Linda! ♥️

The hotel is right in the middle of everything we wanted to see and do in Florence. The staff were so welcoming and amazing. The young woman at the front desk was very sweet and friendly, though I’m sorry I forgot her name. Calvin was a terrific host, greeting us each morning with a big smile and great coffee. I’d give the staff and hotel 6/5 stars if I could.

Breakfast is served in the restaurant next door, with a great buffet selection. The employees were welcoming and helpful with whatever we needed. Our room was spacious and nicely furnished, and the hotel is within walking distance of attractions and restaurants. Great hotel!
