Lilium Hotel

After running the Florence 10km, we really appreciated the great showers. The place was very clean and comfortable, and breakfast was nice too. The guy at reception was super friendly and accommodating. Would recommend!

The location worked perfectly for our train to Rome, with the station less than a 5-minute walk away. We dropped our rental car at the airport, took the tram to the station, then walked about 3 minutes to the hotel. The price was amazing, and finding room for all five of us in Europe was a big plus. Service was excellent, and the morning breakfast surprised us with plenty to choose from, great coffee, and pastries. The teens were happy. We stayed one night and had what we needed. The shower only gave hot or cold water, so getting a comfortable temperature took effort and made a longer shower unpleasant. It wasn’t a big deal for us for just one night.

The receptionist gave us such a warm welcome and was really helpful, which made the stay feel pleasant from the start. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return.

Eva at the front desk was lovely and gave us recommendations for the area. The hotel is clean and stocked with essentials, and the shower water was great. The towel warmer came in handy, though the air conditioning wasn’t great. The elevator is small but can fit two large suitcases. It’s close to Santa Maria Novella train station, with shops and restaurants within walking distance. The area felt safe, the tram stop is just steps away, and almost all the attractions are walkable.
