The location was excellent, with many major sights within walking distance and the train station a short walk or taxi ride away. There's a public taxi stand nearby, or you need to book one through the Florence taxi app. Uber doesn't work here. My check-in got off to a rough start because I never received the email needed for digital check-in beforehand. The woman at the 'reception' helped me sort it out. The room was spacious and clean. It was a bit noisy because of the location, but they supplied headphones, and it didn't bother me much.

From our room we could see the duomo and bell tower, and the location was just perfect. The room was spacious with an old-world feel, and the large bathroom was clean. Everything is handled online, so it was hard to reach someone. We took ages to work out that we needed to go to floor three, since the signs didn't give enough information.

Though the street was busy, our room stayed quiet. It was spacious, very clean, and had a super comfortable bed. The hotel is right in the heart of Florence, just steps from the Duomo. The luggage lockers were handy too, so we could store our bags easily after checking out.

We woke each morning to the lovely sound of the bells. The place has that old Italy feel, right across from the Duomo, and the atmosphere and location couldn't be better. Our room was clean and, thankfully for us, not modern. There was food and drink downstairs. It made our first days in Italy really memorable.
