Numeroventi

We spent five nights at Numeroventi and loved it. The shared kitchen was a great extra: we cooked there one evening and made use of the filtered water, fridge, and homely little touches. Breakfast in the communal space was lovely, typically Italian, with coffee and a sweet pastry. The staff were consistently kind and helpful. Our studio, Loft 2, had a small kitchenette and even a wine fridge, which made it extra comfortable. The design throughout feels like a magazine, with high ceilings, artful furniture, and a calm, elegant atmosphere. The location couldn't be better. It's central and peaceful, with everything just steps away. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys beautiful design, quiet, and an authentic Florence stay.

I finally made it to Florence after wanting to visit for a while, and booked Loft 7 at Numeroventi for my solo trip. It was the smallest room, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but it turned out to be just right. The bed was really comfortable, the design was lovely, and there were nice rooftop views, even from the WC :) The building and shared spaces are beautiful, and breakfast was lovely too. Looking forward to coming back.

The staff were incredibly accommodating, carrying our luggage up to the room, sharing great restaurant and bar recommendations, and being available for all our questions. The room was beautifully designed in a historic building, perfectly placed for exploring everything Florence has to offer. We loved our stay and will definitely come back.

We left on Monday morning instead of staying until the following Thursday, as originally booked from Friday. After arriving already exhausted and badly needing rest, we couldn't manage another night. When we raised the problem on Sunday morning, a staff member said they'd tell the owners, but we heard nothing. He offered to look into moving us to another room, but we'd already felt so negative about the place that we rebooked our flight home. At checkout Monday, another employee seemed unaware of what had happened, which made the communication inside the property feel poor. By Tuesday, we still hadn't heard from the owners, so we emailed ourselves about the partial refund we had requested. They said the property wasn't responsible for city noise. That may be technically true, but the response felt dismissive, given how bad it was and that we were effectively forced to cut our stay short by three nights. The noise was overwhelming for two nights in a row. From 10pm to 5am there were crowds, shouting, singing, and traffic in the surrounding streets, making sleep almost impossible. It sounded as if there were no glass in the windows. At check-in we were given earplugs and told weekends “can be loud,” which seriously understated it. With the premium price, we'd expected proper soundproofing, especially for somewhere promoted as “an experience of silence and contemplation.” We'd also hoped for a more personal stay, maybe a chance to meet the owners, hear about the artist residency, or feel connected to the creative community described in the marketing. Instead, it felt impersonal, and we had to ask about the current exhibition ourselves. The staff we met were genuinely kind, though they seemed to have little authority to address our concerns. The building is stunning, and our room, loft 8, was beautifully furnished, with a lovely entrance hall, bathroom, bedroom, and separate study area with a daybed. The central location is excellent for exploring Florence, and the main sights are easy to reach on foot. We had high expectations based on the beautiful imagery and communication, but the actual experience fell short. I can't recommend Numeroventi to anyone looking for a restful, peaceful stay.
