Hotel Panorama

The only things earning a star from me are the location and the view from the breakfast room. Everything else was a nightmare. Don't trust the pictures, the place looks nothing like them and seems uncared for. The black sofa at reception is turning orange around the seams. The room was noisy, with sounds from the water pipes and people in other rooms. A blind was missing, so the morning sun came straight in. The bed was very small and the mattress sagged in the middle. Furniture was in terrible shape, the shower had no pressure, and the centrally controlled “AC” was a problem. The elevator was also very tight. Cleaning was poor too, with a dusty floor, very dirty, cracking walls and even stains from mosquito killing. They also make you leave your room key at reception when you go out, which felt super shady. Maybe the worst experience I've ever had.

The staff were welcoming, polite and helpful, and the hotel was good value for money. It's in a quiet area near the city center. My room had a beautiful view and was cleaned every day. Breakfast cost a small extra charge and had a wide variety. I highly recommend it.

Waking up to the stunning view of the Duomo was unforgettable. The room was comfortable, the staff friendly, and the location is right in the center, making it perfect for exploring Florence on foot. A beautiful stay, highly recommend if you want a room with a view.

The location is the one good thing. The breakfast was the worst I've ever seen, and I was disappointed that a hotel with so many customers couldn't even provide hair shampoo in the bathroom. On my last day, I noticed they'd put hand soap in the container instead of shampoo.
