Ponte Vecchio - Guicciardini n. 10

The location is good, close to Ponte Vecchio, and the kitchenette was very well equipped. Beyond that, the apartment had quite a few problems. The bathroom layout is strange and inconvenient, with two steps that make using the sink confusing. The hot water had no pressure, making it difficult for two people to shower one after another, and even one person had trouble. The towels were worn. The bed setup, which apparently can be raised or folded against the wall, was also inconvenient, leaving about 25-30 cm of space by the headboard. The induction hob didn't work until I insisted and it was fixed. I chose the place because the Booking.com photos showed white bedding, but the bedding was colored instead. Communication was cumbersome and only through Booking.com messages, which were answered slowly. Other hosts provide a phone number for a quick chat on WA. I asked for one but didn't get it. I was also asked to pay a city tax different from the amount shown on my reservation, according to an invoice left on the table. The amount wasn't significant, but it seemed like an attempt to deceive, since Booking.com lists all costs. When I asked, the host said taxes had changed since the listing was posted. If so, I think they should have told me. I asked for a document and received messages and an invoice on Booking.com, but no document, despite the host saying it would arrive in the coming days. More than a week had passed since I requested it. I have photos as well. I don't recommend this place except for its area and location.
