Residenza Le Rondini

The location was decent, though nothing special. We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, and sadly it wasn’t a good experience. The biggest problem was access. Our room was on the fourth floor and there was no elevator, which was extremely hard for me as a disabled person. This needs to be stated clearly because the property won’t work for many guests. The room smelled strongly unpleasant unless we kept the windows open all the time. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable, and we slept terribly. Street noise and even helicopters kept us from resting before 2am. The bathroom was tiny, especially the shower. It was hard to use comfortably, and I couldn’t get in because the doors wouldn’t open all the way, lol. The listing mentioned a coffee station, but the machine didn’t work properly and the coffee was very poor. Drinking water being available was the one positive. Service was disappointing too. We were told we could pay cash at reception, but nobody was there during our whole stay. Once we’d already left and were on the train, the host contacted us and accused us of not paying. That felt unfair when no one had been available to take the payment. We also didn’t get a proper welcome when we arrived. It wasn’t a comfortable or well-managed stay, and I wouldn’t recommend it, especially to anyone with accessibility needs.
