Soprarno Suites

The breakfast room felt like a little coffee shop, complete with a proper barista machine. There were small croissants and pain au chocolat, ham, salami, cheese, fruit, yogurt, granola, jam, honey, and juice that wasn't fresh. It was a simple Italian-style breakfast, and the food and coffee were nice. We had a bath in the bedroom; the water wasn't quite as hot as we'd have liked, but it was still enjoyable. Our room was spacious, warm, and comfortable, and surprisingly quiet despite facing the main street. The room and bathroom were cleaned thoroughly every day. Around the hotel there are plenty of restaurants and wine bars, plus museums and the Duomo within walking distance. The staff were always kind and helpful. My partner and I can be quite picky, but we'd certainly recommend the place. Thanks to the SoprArno team for the excellent service!

My wife thought we'd paid twice what we actually did, so the value was pretty great. I'll be back, so don't use that against me. The rooms have character, the staff are lovely, and the location is quiet but still makes it easy to walk to Florence's tourist sites. My one suggestion is to improve the coffee. Everything else was great.

The warm lounge was lovely to come back to in the afternoon for tea and cake, and breakfast was nice, too. The place was very clean and quiet, with helpful staff, especially Viviana. My sister and I stayed for five nights in January to see the Fra Angelico show and visit friends. I picked Soprarno because it was a little away from the tourist center but only a short walk across the river, and it worked perfectly. I'd come back.

The location made it easy to reach Florence's main sights, shops, and restaurants, yet nights were surprisingly peaceful. The team looked after us from start to finish: they suggested great restaurants, helped us book tables (a must in Florence), kept the room spotless, and held our luggage when we arrived before it was ready. We stayed at SoprArno Suites for our honeymoon, and the room was gorgeous, with lots more space than other places we'd stayed in Italy. Its painted al fresco ceilings made it feel special. This was one of the highlights of our trip, and we can't recommend it highly enough.
