I Trulli Di Badi

We came across this place by chance and had a lovely, peaceful stay in a beautifully renovated trullo. Maria Antonietta’s experience showed right away. She made us feel comfortable and thought of all those little extras a good host provides. Highly recommended, and we’ll be back soon.

We stayed two days ago and had a great time. The trulli are spacious and comfortable. If you’re passing through Rocolotondo, book the trulli di badi, I recommend it 🥰

The woman who runs the B&B was friendly and extremely helpful. I stayed with my parents in room 2, which was very large, with beds that suited me perfectly since I prefer a firm mattress. There’s a little kitchenette with an induction stove and plenty of dishes. The bathroom is spacious too, with lots of towels and all the toiletries you need. The property is well maintained and has ample parking.

The owners were friendly and kind, but the property really needs rethinking. There was no air conditioning, and the sofa bed creaked. The bed and bath linens were worn and gray, and the face towel was stained. The trullo sits on a busy, noisy bend in the road, and the owners’ dogs often bark. Inside, dated dusty knick-knacks took up space and left nowhere to put suitcases except on the floor. The tiny kitchen had little room for dishes, which were piled haphazardly on dirty shelves alongside leftovers from previous guests. Ants were crawling on the small counter. And the freezer had “deceased and frozen” ice creams, apparently forgotten by who knows who.
