Hotel Bonapace

For what it offers, this place is a bargain. It’s only a 3 star hotel, but it has a lovely pool and wellness centre, and it’s very clean. The staff are friendly and efficient. It’s right in the town center and close to the ski lifts, though you don’t have to walk. The shuttle takes you to the lift and comes to collect you when you call. Breakfast is huge, with lots to choose from, including lovely homemade cakes. Dinner is good too, and seems homemade. And, of course, there’s the singing barman!!!

We had a great time here, everything was beautiful. We booked a couple room and a single room for Dec 17-19. The couple room was much bigger and had a bathtub, and the bed and blanket were very comfortable. Service was very good all around. Breakfast was good, reception was very helpful, and we had dinner at the hotel on our first night. The cable station, skating ring, and some shopping were all within the hotel.

After skiing, the pool and sauna were just right for unwinding. The pool never felt too crowded, since you have to book a time slot. There’s a regular shuttle to the slopes, and you can call for one outside the scheduled hours. The beds were comfortable, and the nearby river made a soothing sound that helped us sleep deeply. The hotel had everything our family needed for a winter holiday, and we felt exceptionally well cared for. The friendly staff made the atmosphere pleasant. We arrived late for dinner, but they had kept food for us. They also helped us celebrate our daughter’s birthday with warm wishes and a small gift. The barman was a blast, singing and joking with guests. When we left at night, they gave us tasty snacks for the journey home. It’s a paradise for winter sports. We’ll definitely return. Thank you!

I really enjoyed the food, though I would have liked more vegetables at breakfast and dinner, maybe paprika or cucumber. The wellness area and garden felt cozy, and don’t miss trying the tea in the wellness section. The staff at reception were friendly and willing to help with anything. Miss Alma was especially kind. Our room was nice, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom clean. I also appreciated that they only clean the room if you ask, which gave us privacy.
