A wide choice of excellent cheeses, cold cuts, and fruit made breakfast feel European in style, and the hotel restaurant was phenomenal. The rooms are comfortable and luxurious, and the service is at the highest level. The property appeared suddenly at the end of a road among mountains and abandoned houses. It has a huge, beautiful garden, views of the water, and flowers and lemons perfuming the air. We’ll definitely be back.

This was our second time at Hotel Santavenere, and it was just as good as before. The moment you arrive, you feel at home. The staff are super friendly and accommodating, and the whole place has a relaxing feel that’s hard to explain. The grounds are beautifully manicured, and the beach is quiet and peaceful. The food is always good, especially breakfast, which we looked forward to every day. Our room was very clean, and some rooms are quite large. There’s a lovely spa too. By the pool, there’s a bar and a pizza oven serving the best Diavalo pizza around. You can walk around the small neighborhood outside the property, but make time to drive into Maratea and visit Christ the Redeemer and the Basilica on the mountain.

The private beach is enchanting, and the landscape and views are impeccable. This is a very cute boutique hotel on a beautiful piece of land, with top-notch five-star service. There’s parking, and you can walk to the port town for a meal. I definitely need to come back.
