Even though this review is late, I still remember our stay from two and a half years ago very fondly. The landlady was one of the loveliest people we met in Matera, and the rooms were spacious and very clean, with a feel that matched Matera. Breakfast is served at the hotel across the way, where the view over the Sassi is breathtaking from your table. There was plenty of breakfast, including options for vegans and vegetarians. A five-star stay in every respect.

The rooms are cozy, with a beautifully renovated interior, and the place is close to the city center. Our host was always ready to help, even arranging restaurant reservations, which are hard to find on January 1st. A nice place to stay.

We spent three nights in Matera at Residence del Casalnuovo and found it clean, spacious, practical, and private. It even had a private terrace and a second entrance. Breakfast came with a breathtaking view of the Sassi and the Rock Church. The host was welcoming and kind.

The room was small but fully equipped and very clean, and the location made it easy to reach the sights on foot. I strongly recommend this accommodation if you're visiting Matera. Breakfast is served across the street at Belvedere Hotel. The food there was abundant and delicious, and the view of The Sassi is breathtaking. It's worth reserving a spot on the terrace!

The rate felt fair and the location was nice. Rooms are decent, though the bathroom is small. Breakfast was amazing, with a view of the Canyon and Sassi.
