The studio is compact but has what you need, with room to open and store two suitcases. The bed was comfortable, and there was Wi-Fi. It also came with cups, spoons, plates, a pot, a frying pan, a kettle, a microwave, a washing machine and a hairdryer. The apartment is in Chinatown, where people are out on the street late into the night, but our windows faced the courtyard and it was quiet inside. The building has an elevator that can fit two people with two suitcases. We got the check-in instructions the day before. There's a Carefur a few houses away, several tram stops within five minutes on foot, and the metro and train station are about a 15-minute walk away.

I had a horrible experience in Milan. I booked and paid a month ahead for an office visit, but they tried to cancel at the last minute without refunding me. After I complained, they deliberately gave me a location 50 km outside the city. It felt like nothing but money laundering.

The Certosa apartment was an awful place to stay. It was so cramped that moving around was hard. The TV didn’t work, and the kitchenette had very old, worn pots and pans, mismatched and insufficient cutlery, and no teaspoons. The bed had very old blankets and no bedspread. The price was extremely high, apparently because of the Milan-Cortina Olympics. I really wouldn’t recommend it.

It’s decent enough, but the water tank takes ages to fill. I’d shower before starting a load of laundry. There’s a stovetop, oven, washing machine and clothesline. Also, someone should clean under the stove 🤣
