The staff were polite and tried to help us feel welcome, but the hotel needs work. Our bathroom had mold and moisture, the rooms were small and due for renovation, and the thin walls meant we could hear what people in other rooms were doing. Getting to our floor also meant climbing steep, narrow stairs, since there's no elevator. I think some investment in the building's infrastructure could make the place much better appreciated by guests.

The location worked well, the building felt very secure, and I trusted the people enough to leave my things there. Staff were friendly and helpful, and someone was always at reception, even if you arrive late. Cleaning was good, though you can ask reception not to clean if you prefer. We left things in the room. I think breakfast may be free, but we got up too late to find out. The place felt a bit like university accommodation. We chose it because we spend all day exploring and only need somewhere to sleep. It's fine for people without luggage who aren't too fussy. The shared toilet was okay, but the shower and curtains could use a little work. We didn't mind basic facilities as long as they were proper. There was too much noise because other guests weren't considerate. A few improvements could make it perfect.

For the price, this is one of the best places I've stayed. I booked at the last minute and arrived around 8:30 in the evening, tired, but got a lovely welcome from one of the best receptionists. A smile and basic courtesy go a long way for a worn out traveler, and there's plenty of that here. The room was clean and organized, with a bathing area. The toilet was shared but clean. There's a refrigerator in the common area and some candies by the welcome area. I'd suggest booking it for a future stay in Milan.

We picked this basic hotel because we wanted to be near the train station, but it was about a 25 minute walk away. It's set inside a pretty courtyard, and the room was clean. There was no elevator or room safe.

We booked about ten minutes ahead and everything went smoothly. There's a shower, free Wi-Fi that worked, and reception stays open around the clock. The hotel was okay, basically just a bed. Don't expect much, but it did the job.
