Hotel Del Sole is in central Milan, not far from the train station. The room felt modern and was very clean, and the host was kind and helpful.

Nothing fancy, just a decent basic place that did the job for the price. It had balconies, the bed was good, and the toilet wasn't bad either.

6/10
The location worked well, with supermarkets and a subway station close by. I expected less from a one-star hotel, especially looking at the Booking photos, but it was better than expected: clean rooms, cozy beds, and a clean bathroom shared by each floor. The AC was pretty old but did its job. I'd give it a deserved 3/5.

4/10
The hard beds and one shared bathroom on each floor weren't great, even though the neighborhood is lively and near the central station. The location and fairly low price were appealing, but I'd pay extra for a different hotel next time. After a long walk, we returned to find someone fixing the AC in our room. I would have expected to be moved to another room, but that didn't happen.

A good deal in central Milan, especially for couples or travelers looking for an inexpensive stay. The rooms were clean, the staff very friendly, and the facilities were good. The central train station is about a 15-minute walk away.
