INNperfect Villa

We paid €37 euros for the night and were surprised by how well furnished the room was. It had all the amenities we could need, and was relatively cheap. The main drawback was the heat during a very warm part of the year. There was a fancy fan, but it was loud and didn't keep us cool. Being near the central station was handy too. We left our bags at their central office, spent the day in Milan, then took the metro to Sondrio to collect them.

The rooms are clean and functional, nothing special, but good value for the price. There's a Nespresso machine and kettle in the shared space, and the shared bathroom is clean and well kept. The location is the best part, super handy for the main sights and close to a M station and Centrale, so getting around is easy. Just don't expect too much.

The rooms are clean and have the basics you’d expect from a budget hostel: sockets, fresh linen and towels, heaters, and a lock on your own bedroom door. For the price, it’s a reasonable place as long as you don’t expect too much. I was glad to have the heater when I visited in winter. The main drawback is that three bedrooms share one bathroom with a toilet, tub, and sink, so getting ready could be a problem if someone else is showering and you’re in a hurry. Light from the corridor comes through the doors, and they make a loud noise when opened. You can hear people talking in their rooms, too, so sleep may be short and interrupted. Check-in is 50 metres from the rooms, and there’s a tourist tax of €3 per person per night. It could work well for a weekend, especially if you get decent or no flatmates. Next time, though, I’d spend a bit more.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here as it is now. The beds are thin mattresses on pallets, which might not be comfortable for everyone, and the bathroom needs better lighting and finishing. There’s a nice bath, toilet, and sink, but the place feels cheap. The shared area could use a sink or dishwasher and more utensils, and the bathroom mold needs cleaning. They should also make sure the receptionist knows what to do and can communicate clearly.
