NYX Hotel Milan by Leonardo Hotels

There are plenty of pleasant spots to sit and work, though the desk in the room wasn't comfortable for working. The rooms are large and the location is great, right across from Milan's central train, metro, bus, and tram stations. The breakfast buffet is good. The room itself is fairly basic, with simple bedding, just shampoo and shower gel combined, and basic towels. Getting into the hotel involves steep stairs.

The breakfast had a great variety, and the service was excellent throughout our Christmas 2025 stay at NYX Hotel Milan. We were traveling with a baby, and the spacious family room was very comfortable. They'd set up the crib in advance, which made things much easier for us. Milano Centrale is right across the street, so getting around was extremely convenient. We had a fantastic, five-star stay and would highly recommend it.

Does anyone know the name or brand of the aroma used in the lobby? It was amazing. We also want to thank the Greek-speaking gentleman at the front desk. He was welcoming and gave us useful tips on what to see in Milan. We really appreciated it!

The room was around 27°C and felt like an oven. I couldn't relax or sleep in that heat, and the bed was uncomfortable too. Before booking, I'd specifically checked that the room had air conditioning because it mattered a lot to me. When I called reception, they wouldn't turn it on and said things like “the government controls the air conditioning.” That didn't seem true, and it came across as a dishonest excuse. Management offered no apology or solution: no other room, no fan, nothing. Just indifference. The staff were mostly dismissive and unhelpful, with little concern for guests' comfort. One person was a bright spot. He was polite and respectful, apologized, and was willing to help, but didn't have the authority to do anything about the AC. The room also seemed neglected, with worn furniture and poor upkeep. Cleanliness was below what I expected, and it didn't feel like proper hotel standards were being followed. Noise added to the frustration: I could hear people in the hallway, doors slamming, and sounds from outside. The only positive was the convenient location near the train station. It doesn't make up for the service, the way the AC issue was handled, or the lack of care for guests. I regret booking here and wouldn't stay again. I'd advise others to think twice.
