Sheraton Diana Majestic, Milan

The garden was nice for a bite to eat, and they had a DJ in the evening. Staff were attentive and professional. It's a nice hotel, though the rooms and furniture feel dated. I had a large suite on the top floor, but the AC couldn't deliver 75F when it was 36C outside and the sun was hitting the roof. It only cooled to 72F at night. Another downside is that there's just one elevator for 4-5 people.

This was our third stay, and it won't be our last. It's a quiet hotel in a perfect spot, two minutes from both the metro and train stations. The tram is right outside, with shops and all kinds of restaurants just minutes away. Friendly staff and quick responses, too.

We loved this hotel and plan to return sometime soon. The staff were friendly, upgraded our room when we checked in, called cabs whenever we needed one, and arranged dinner reservations for us each night. Getting around the city was easy on foot or by car. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting from America who's looking for a good hotel in Italy.

The lobby and garden are stunning, the location is top notch, and the bellman was cheerful and very helpful. The initial service was lovely, but things went downhill once we got to the room. It was very hot, and because October is an “in between season,” there was no way to regulate the temperature. At night the noise was unbearable. If you need proper rest, the 3rd floor might not be the right choice. I asked to move the next day, but they just said there shouldn't be noise that night. Of course, there was, and I arrived at my meetings like a zombie. When I raised it again and asked for a room change, they only said they hoped it would be quieter. They didn't check whether another room was available or try to move us. Maybe it's fine if noise doesn't bother you or you don't need to be well rested, but I was disappointed, especially as a frequent Marriott hotels member.
