Adua & Regina di Saba

The spa felt like a peaceful treat, and the clear pool and jacuzzi were lovely places to unwind. Breakfast had plenty of choices, both classic and tasty, and our room was spacious, beautifully furnished, and so comfortable. The beds and soft, high-quality pillows helped us sleep like babies. Everything looked spotless, and the stylish interior still felt welcoming. The hotel made a breathtaking first impression, with luxury and elegance throughout. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. They really went out of their way to make us feel like royalty, especially Filorena 🌷 It’s a quiet, peaceful location, yet just a few minutes’ walk from the Montecatini city center. Florence, Pisa, and Viareggio are also nearby and easy to reach, so it’s a good base for exploring Tuscany. For parking, ask reception for directions. The designated lot is a few minutes away, watched by cameras, safe, and very affordable.

I stayed at Hotel Adua for seven nights. The evening meal was plentiful, with four Italian-style courses. Breakfast was limited, but it suited me since I like yogurt and fruit as well as eggs and toast. The hotel is close to shops, bars, the art gallery, restaurants, and the thermal spa. I had an excellent stay.

We were a group of 24 people from India staying for one night. The AC in one room wasn’t working, and since the hotel was fully booked, Georgina at reception was really helpful in finding a solution. Thanks, dear! The breakfast spread was great too. Totally recommend it.

The staff are kind and professional, but the spa is tiny, and the pool is unbearably small too. The ventilation is the worst part. It’s outdated, and there was so much chlorine in the air that it felt unhealthy for most people, especially anyone over 50. They host groups of seasonal tourists, and I can’t imagine how uncomfortable it must be to share such a small space with them. A lot of regional hotels have well-trained staff but old-fashioned facilities. I say that as a former tour guide.
