Bayard101

The location is hard to beat, about a two-minute walk from the Central Station and close to what you need. I've stayed twice, once in a four-bed room and once in a double, and both were lovely and perfectly clean. They're part of a wonderful apartment on the fourth floor of a charming old building. The owner and his parents were so kind and helpful. I'd strongly recommend it.

Marco met us and was friendly and helpful, and our spotless room looked out over the square. Bayard101 is right by Garibaldi station, with inexpensive bars and restaurants just a 30-second walk away. It isn't in the main centre, but that's about a 15-minute walk or two metro stops away. Naples centre can feel manic, so we liked having a quieter base here. You should expect traffic and ordinary city noise, though. I'd definitely recommend it for a stay in Naples.

Inside, Bayard101 was a real gem: the room was spacious, new, very clean and comfortable, with a sturdy bed, modern bathroom, solid WIFI and a pleasant veranda view. Marco met me at the door and was extremely helpful, though that changed at the very end when I got caught up in one of Italy's stupid, senseless strikes. The place is incredibly close to Garibaldi Station, which was very convenient for me. The outside, hallways and small manual elevator felt rough and a bit sketchy to me as an American, much like the contrast I associate with Naples itself. Breakfast was a nice extra, although I was offered less on my second day than on the first. All in all, a great experience, like my short but magical visit to Naples.

Marco handled check-in and check-out smoothly, and he was helpful and knowledgeable. We stayed two nights at Bayard101 in a clean, spacious room, very close to the central train station. A great choice and highly recommended for Naples.
