Being able to walk to the Vatican and so many historic sights was a huge plus, and there are plenty of handy shops and restaurants on the street near Piazza Navona. It gets busy in the daytime and you can hear the street, though closing the shutters makes it much quieter later on. The room was clean and had what we needed: a comfortable bed and sheets, a nice shower and bathroom, TV, and AC. I loved the high, beautiful ceiling and big shuttered window. It also felt very secure, with keys for the front doors, gate, apartment doors, and room doors.

We left right away and had to find a hotel at the last minute. The mattress looked really gross and didn’t feel sanitary, and the apartment complex felt sketchy. There was a strong smoke smell when we arrived. The owner said it came from the street, but the street actually smelled better. We’d booked expecting a fully private unit, but the owner lived in the other room, which was shared. The photos were extremely misleading. I chose this place despite the bad reviews because there were so many good ones, and I really wish I’d listened to the negative ones. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had.

We walked to most of the sights from this unique property in a great part of Rome, with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The room was beautiful, and the owner was really helpful. Having access to the fridge and kitchen was a nice bonus. We could hear the street because of the central location, but it didn’t bother us.

Daniela checked in often to see if we were happy, arranged a taxi, and suggested food and clubs. Communication with the owner was quick and great, and Andrea greeted us and looked after the room during our stay. The room was clean, beautifully arranged, and had a super comfortable bed. We could also use the well-equipped kitchen. It’s an amazing spot within walking distance of the main sights, small art shops, and local stores. Each evening, a neighbor across the street played classical music, which gave things an elegant, relaxing feel. Loved our stay and would highly recommend it. Thank you!

We didn’t stay even one night. After I tried to contact the owner on day one and got no reply, we left and booked a hotel at the last minute, paying $500 more in total. The room reeked of smoke, seemingly masked by awful air freshener, and this clearly wasn’t a smoke-free property. The owner lives there, and it was obvious someone was smoking in another room. The building felt somewhat sketchy, and the photos were extremely misleading. Please beware.
