There are only a few rooms, and it's a quiet place. The Colosseum, Spanish Steps, and Trevi Fountain are all within walking distance, along with everything else you'd want to see in Rome.

The room itself was absolutely incredible, but the service was garbage. We paid quite a lot for a suite expecting a luxury hotel stay, and the morning crew made it anything but. On several occasions, loud conversations between Rocco at the front desk and the maid working in the rooms woke us up. We had the do not disturb sign on the door and asked them to keep it down because we were trying to rest after the night before. Instead, they talked back and said it was almost 11 AM, as if that made yelling back and forth in the narrow hallway acceptable, and made us at fault for sleeping in during our hotel stay. I wouldn't expect this behavior from any hotel, especially one that calls itself luxury, or expect it to be allowed. I'd strongly recommend spending your money somewhere else in town. This was not worth what we paid.

Everything was at a really high level, and I'm 99.9% satisfied, which is enough for five stars. One possible improvement: some staff members didn't speak English very well.

The location is superb: about a 20-minute walk from the train station, around 15 minutes to the Trevi Fountain and Colosseum, and roughly 45 minutes to the Vatican, probably the longest walk. The hotel has tried to reduce traffic noise with double or triple glazing, though it may take a night to get used to the sound.

I really liked being able to access the apartment with a smartphone. It's a very new, stylish hotel in a great location, and this was the best room I've stayed in in Italy. Highly recommended. I'll definitely stay again.
