A&C Much More II

The room was just okay, but getting inside was confusing because there were no signs. We had to call on WhatsApp to work out how to enter. The receptionist was rude and seemed annoyed by everything we asked. When the toilet wouldn’t flush, he blamed me; when the AC didn’t work, he said we’d pressed the wrong button. They kept our bags during the day, but when we came back and begged to use the restroom, even explaining it was an emergency, he firmly refused. The shower was so cramped I couldn’t wash the lower half of my body because there wasn’t room to move. Water drained so slowly I had to wash one thing at a time and turn it off to stop the shower from overflowing. If I have another layover in Rome, I’d pay twice as much for clear directions, polite staff, and a restroom that works properly. I’ll never stay here again, even if my life depends on it.

The location was perfect and close to everything we needed, and the price was fair. Finding the hotel and working out how to enter took some effort, but once we arrived, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Our private room was spacious, clean, and comfortable enough, with everything we needed, though it felt a bit dated. The private bathroom was down the hall. It was small but functional, and easy to unlock without a key. A few things we asked for never got followed up on, but we had what we needed.

OMG, I just checked out, and being there was horrible. The Indian guy at reception was really rude and shady. I hated his attitude. He turned down every request and acted like I was staying for free, even though I’d paid. The place was so dirty I didn’t even want to stay. I’d have been better off sleeping at Termini Station. I’ll never go back.

The place feels really cheap, but the price doesn't reflect that. I could live with the low-quality accommodation if it cost half as much. They make the bed every day by fluffing up the blanket, but the room itself isn't cleaned. The bathroom gets cleaned, though only the spots you'd notice right away.
