Appartamento Vicino al Colosseo

We really liked how much space there was: two bedrooms, a bathroom, a large shared living area, and a kitchen. It’s on the third floor and close to the Colosseum, so it’s convenient for getting to Rome’s main sights. The host was very sweet and let me stay with my cats. They loved the sunshine coming into the rooms :) I’d recommend it 100%.

There’s plenty of room here for a family or a group of friends, and we found it modern and clean. We felt secure, and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen, internet, TV, towels, and hot shower were all good, and there were some extra things for babies. Lots of restaurants, a gelateria, and shops are nearby. You can walk to Termini for airport connections and to attractions like the Colosseum. Great value, and I’d happily recommend it.

The location was a strong point, a quiet street and around a 10-minute walk from both the Colosseo and Termini, though Friday and Saturday evenings were noisier. The interior matched the Booking.com description. The apartment was short on basics: no soap, too little toilet paper, no wine glasses, and only two teaspoons. The induction hob also didn’t work with the coffee maker. We were charged an extra €30 without an explanation, and the service took a day to respond to our requests. Good apartment in a good spot, but the owner didn’t seem honest.

We were a family with two children and found everything we needed, with the main sights close by. The stairs were the one drawback. They may be uncomfortable if you have mobility difficulties or are traveling with babies.
