B&B Piramide Terrace

We stayed in room 3, and the view from the balcony was amazing. The room was large, the price was cheap, the building felt very secure, and breakfast comes with a 3.50 euro discount per person at the cafe. It’s the best hotel I’ve stayed in so far. The B&B is on the 9th floor, next to a shop with Chinese theming. I’m not sure what they sell. The elevator is old but maintained regularly. It made me a bit nervous because I’ve had bad experiences, but I got used to it quickly. We called the owner to be let in, and he talked us through checking ourselves in: we picked up the key from the lockbox, locked up, got our room key, and went in. There are three rooms here. About an hour later he came by to explain the rest. The breakfast discount is for the 77 cafe downstairs, on weekdays and Saturdays. The room had air conditioning, a balcony, a double and single bed, and a pullout bed in the hallway. There was a dresser, wardrobe, two nightstands, and one plug that we found. The bathroom has a shower, toilet, bidet, sink, soap, and towels. Spare toilet paper is in the hall, along with a kettle, shared fridge, and tea and coffee. The owner is really lovely and friendly. He made sure we knew where everything was, replies quickly on WhatsApp, and speaks English very well, though it isn’t his first language. I don’t plan to return to Rome since we’ve already done everything 😅, but if I do, I’ll definitely stay here again. Great place.

The B&B rooms are beautiful and really spacious, especially for Rome. The train station is only two minutes away and connects you to everywhere. It’s also just ten minutes to the Circus Maximus and the Colosseum, with plenty of great restaurants about ten minutes away in Trastevere. The B&B guy was incredibly kind and caring, and gave us lots of helpful advice. Wow, it was absolutely wonderful.

The view from the 9th floor balcony is amazing, and WiFi was fast and free. Diego was a great host, explaining breakfast, check-in and check-out, and sharing a lovely map of the tourist sights plus food and drink recommendations. The Metro is a five minute walk, and you can be in the centre in 15 minutes. There’s a local supermarket and a pizza place right outside. Go check out Pizzeria Ostiense directly opposite! We had a stay above expectations and will definitely come back.

The owner and staff were so kind and welcoming. Our room was clean, and we really enjoyed our stay.
