This was easily the worst accommodation experience I've ever had. I booked Bed and Breakfast Zoe for eight nights but left after three because I no longer felt safe. From the first day, the owner pushed me to cancel my Booking.com reservation and pay cash for a “discount,” so he would avoid state taxes and Booking.com commission. I refused, and things became tense and hostile. On 28 October, his sister came to the property, demanded payment aggressively, and acted in a threatening way. I felt unsafe enough to call the police myself. I paid €1,000 by card under pressure, just so I could leave as quickly as possible. The room was outdated, dirty, and poorly maintained too. The furnishings were worn, the bathroom wasn't sanitary, and the place felt neglected and unhygienic. It didn't match the photos or my expectations. I've reported the incident to Booking.com and my bank. I strongly advise avoiding this property if you care about safety, professionalism, or basic cleanliness.

Getting in was easy with the self check-in, which was especially helpful since we arrived around 11pm. The location is very good, close to the main attractions, and the kitchen is well equipped with sweets, coffee, and tea for guests. The room was dusty and the towels stained, and cleaning clearly wasn't a priority, especially in the bathroom. The shower in the green room was full of mold. Although the location is really quiet, you can hear absolutely everything from the next room and the kitchen and living areas.

Zoe made me love Rome even more. We stayed five nights and definitely want to return. We take four or five trips a year around the world, and this is a place to love, looked after like a gem and with all the amenities you could need. The room was spacious, with a very good shower, a nice balcony, a desk, a printer, and a flatscreen with Netflix. Everything actually works, and there’s nothing to stress about. Plus, you can have as much of the best coffee in the world as you like. Arrivederci Zoe ❤️❤️❤️

The self-service breakfast and kitchen were stocked with fresh things every day, and we could eat in the kitchen or out on the balcony. The balcony was a great spot for breakfast. We travelled with our nine-month-old son and found the B&B worked really well with a baby. We stayed in May 2018. The location is excellent, right in the heart of trastevere, and the rooms are big and clean. Can't wait to visit again.

Desiree took great care of us and made sure all our needs were met. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well ventilated. It's in a fantastic spot near bus stops, in a young, lively neighborhood with great nightlife. Highly, highly recommended!
