Casa Tua a Monti

We were close to both the train station and the bus station, but the stay was awful. The hot water kept going cold while we showered, and the tank was leaking. The beds were flimsy, uneven, and squeaked badly. The living room air conditioner blew hot air, so my kids couldn't sleep on the sofa bed. They ended up on the bedroom floor, where the other air conditioner worked, with all five of us in one room. The door knob was broken too. The heater had been left on, and we only realized near the end of the first day, by which point the apartment was unbearably hot. The host apologized when the first problem came up, but as other issues surfaced, he became defensive and disrespectful. He accused us of inventing problems instead of taking responsibility. This stay gave us the worst time in Rome. The owner replied on booking.com trying to deny what happened and blame us for the apartment's miserable condition and his unprofessional behavior, but we have photos and videos.
