The main reasons I gave this place four stars were its convenient location and much lower price than similar accommodation nearby. The tradeoff was that it wasn’t very clean and the beds were really uncomfortable. We paid about a third of the going rate, so keep that in mind. You get what you pay for.
The furniture looked old and heavily used, and the bed’s mattress was old too, so we decided to cancel after seeing the place. Diana said she’d return my money after deducting the cancellation fee, but to this day only part of it has come back. She kept the rest without us agreeing to that. Be careful, I can’t recommend this.
The host was nice, and it’s a great place to stay in a nice location.
If you’re looking to stay in Trastevere, this is the best place.
Even with temperatures close to 40 degrees Celsius outside, the room stayed comfortable. It’s spotless, including the bathroom, and there’s a well-equipped kitchen with coffee, tea, water, and pastries. The room itself is fantastic, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Diana, the landlady, was one of the loveliest people I’ve ever met. I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it 100%.
